Let’s talk about it…
You’ve probably seen at least one or two headlines by now saying things like “Bitcoin Risks $100,000 Collapse” and “Fear Settles in as BTC Drops 2.5%.”
The mainstream media (MSM) has been having a field day with Bitcoin’s quick dip toward that open CME gap, turning a routine technical move into a full-blown “collapse” story.
But here’s what they “forgot” to mention: it’s just a price window left behind when futures trading pauses over the weekend — and Bitcoin (BTC) often slides back to fill it before rebounding.
That’s why I’ve said since the beginning of the year… we’re looking at what could be the greatest run we’ve ever seen for crypto — and pullbacks are part of every rally.
And this week, that message couldn’t be more important to remember.
Because while the mainstream media was forecasting doom, here’s what was really going on…
Bitcoin Bounced While Gold Took a Breather
Gold cooled off about 5% last week, but Bitcoin? It popped right back above $110K.
That doesn’t mean gold’s in trouble… not even close. This looks more like money rotating, not disappearing. When one hard asset takes a break, the other usually steps up.
And that’s exactly what we saw: Bitcoin flexed while gold caught its breath.
Both are still part of the same big trend — real assets leading while everything else chops sideways.
So instead of reading this as Bitcoin vs. gold, think of it as gold passing the baton for a lap.
The run’s still on.
U.S. Crypto Activity Is Surging Right on Cue
While the headlines screamed “collapse,” the data told a different story…
A new report from TRM Labs (a blockchain analytics firm that tracks global crypto activity) showed U.S. crypto activity up 28% year over year.
And the spark? A surge in both institutional and retail engagement, especially thanks to President Trump’s pro-crypto, deregulation agenda.
Now, whatever your politics, the pattern’s the same every cycle: when things get tense or uncertain, people look for alternatives.
And right now, as volatility rises, crypto’s one of the few places giving traders both liquidity and upside.
Ripple Just Did What the Banks Wouldn’t…
Here’s one headline you probably didn’t see coming: Ripple (XRP) just teamed up with Evernorth, a SPAC backed by institutional healthcare investors, to manage part of its corporate treasury in XRP.
Yeah, you read that right… A U.S. company is now holding crypto on its balance sheet.
This is how it starts… quiet, small-scale deals that prove crypto isn’t just for trading anymore. It’s now being used, held, and trusted by real businesses.
And once that door’s open, more firms are going to walk through it.
Coinbase Just Bought the Future, $375 Million at a Time
Coinbase just dropped $375 million to buy a blockchain fundraising platform called Echo.
Echo lets crypto projects raise money straight from their supporters — no banks, no venture firms, no middlemen.
That tells us a lot about where Coinbase’s head is right now. They’re betting big on access. And giving smaller projects the tools to raise money faster is a move that says, “Forget Wall Street. We’ll build our own.”
That means, even with a few bumps along the way, money’s still pouring into crypto at a pace we’ve never seen before. Institutions are adopting and expanding. And crypto’s being put to work in ways that are already making a real-world impact.
So, don’t let short-term dips or overblown headlines rattle you… The signals are lining up in our favor.
And if you’ve been following me this year, then you already know:
This is the run we’ve been preparing for.
Cheers,
