Investors were in pure panic mode at the beginning of the week, thanks to news of China’s groundbreaking AI, DeepSeek GAR-1.
The Dow, S&P, and Nasdaq plunged right out of the gate… NVIDIA (NVDA) sank more than 17% in just 24 hours… and even Bitcoin (BTC) tumbled over 8.8% from its new all-time high on January 20 (of ($109,026.02).
Now, as we discussed, the dust has settled a bit since then…
NVDA rebounded 8.9% on Tuesday’s close but is still trading below its pre-drop price. BTC has also partially recovered, climbing back to $104,672.64 as of the time of writing.
But the big question remains—what happens next?
