The One Thing That Could Be a “Canary in the Coalmine” for the Markets

Dear Reader,

There’s a lot going on right now…

As I’ve been telling you for weeks, the markets are looking incredibly bullish into the end of the year.

The four-year Presidential election cycle is entering its most profitable phase…

And the economy continues to strengthen… We’re hitting multi-month targets on the SPDR S&P 500 ETF – the benchmark we use to track stocks- and our year-end target has stretched to around the 600 level.

And the markets could vey well hit that mark before the end of the year.

But the S&P is already up 23% for the year (remember, the average yearly gain going back decades is around 7%), which begs the question…

Have these markets run their course?

As I see it, there is one looming factor that could wind up being a “canary in the coalmine” for these markets.
