The Fed’s Job Shock Just Handed Bitcoin a Bullish Gift

Yesterday, I walked you through the reasons I believe Bitcoin (BTC) could hit $150,000 in as little as 120 days. You can check that out here, in case you missed it.

And today, I want to add one more that may surprise you: the jobs report revision.

We’ve been talking about the will-they-won’t-they situation we’re in regarding a potential Fed rate cut…

But this morning, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the U.S. economy only created 847,000 jobs from March 2024 through March 2025 (a decrease of 911,000 jobs). Since then, the economy has only created 53,000 jobs per month, on average.

So, what does this mean for crypto?

It means that the Fed is running out of wiggle room. Pressure’s already been relentless, specifically on Jerome Powell… but today’s news is a game-changer. And historically, stocks AND crypto benefit when the Fed pumps more money into the system.

Why? Because liquidity looks for the hottest risk assets—like BTC and Ethereum (ETH).

And that’s not all…

Here are five other crypto developments that may have been buried beneath the headlines…

President Trump Has New Competition to Become the “Crypto King”

Kazakhstan’s President Tokayev just proposed a state-backed crypto fund designed to hold “promising digital assets.”

Think about that… a sitting head of state wants to stack crypto on the national balance sheet. First it was El Salvador, then Trump made BTC part of his political platform, and now Kazakhstan is jumping in.

What does this mean for crypto?

For BTC, it’s a sign that governments are competing for coins that already have shrinking exchange supply.

For ETH and altcoins, it signals that state treasuries may diversify beyond BTC.

And for traders, it means fresh new opportunities.

The ‘Old Guard’ is Crossing the Crypto Bridge

Gemini, the Winklevoss-founded exchange, is set to list this week, with the Nasdaq making an appearance as a strategic investor.

But it’s not just about optics… the Nasdaq brings credibility, visibility—and Wall Street pipelines. And for BTC and ETH, especially, it means fresh inflows from institutional players who’ve been waiting on a more “legit” bridge.

This is the same playbook we saw with the spot ETFs: once the old guard signs off, new money follows. And Gemini’s link to such a big player could boost trust in centralized exchanges—bringing more institutional capital into the market.

Altcoins Are Crashing the Treasury Party

Last week, Eightco Holdings Inc. (OCTO) stock exploded 3,000% after announcing a plan to allocate $250M to Worldcoin (WLD).

Now, whether you love or hate WLD for its use of biometrics, the message is clear: altcoins are breaking into the treasury conversation. When corporate money starts treating tokens like WLD as balance-sheet assets, it’s not speculation anymore… it’s real demand.

And that demand sent WLD volumes spiking and showed that altcoin adoption stories can trigger ripple effects across the market.

Chicago’s Building the Next Crypto Playground

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) just rolled out continuous Bitcoin and Ethereum futures set to launch on November 10.

So, what’s the big deal? This gives U.S. traders a pathway to long-term, perpetual-style crypto exposure. Continuous futures make trading smoother, cut down rollover costs, and open the door for more sophisticated strategies… which means more liquidity, more institutional confidence, and more reasons for big funds to finally get off the sidelines.

Now BTC and ETH didn’t spike overnight on the news… but this is a stealthy bullish move. It further lays the groundwork for even bigger moves ahead—and tells us exactly how ETFs will play a play a part.

Politics, Pop Culture, and Crypto Are Colliding Again

Trump Media’s Truth Social app just integrated Cronos (CRO) into its payments system—alongside its growing Bitcoin stack.

This means that the days of crypto being seen as some “niche” thing are long over. Crypto’s now breaking into mainstream apps with millions of users. For CRO, it’s a massive validation shot. And for BTC, it reinforces the narrative that political and cultural figures are normalizing crypto every time they roll it out to new audiences.

Adoption at this scale doesn’t happen on exchanges… it happens when people start using tokens inside the apps they already spend time on. Truth Social adding CRO is another example of that transition.

And something tells me this is only the beginning…

Cheers,
