Hollywood Just Put Bitcoin on the Big Screen

Like I said last week, pullbacks don’t break bull markets – they fuel them.

And right now, Bitcoin’s (BTC) already trading higher, shaking off the weekend wobble. In fact, crypto has already started the month on a high note. BTC has popped above $111K – rebounding nearly 1.5% in one day as U.S. markets steadied.

But the bigger story isn’t happening on the charts – it’s happening on movie sets.

That’s right… Bitcoin’s about to star in its own Hollywood thriller! And when pop culture collides with crypto, that’s a good sign of what’s to come.

Here’s the latest…

Satoshi Goes to Hollywood

A new thriller called “Killing Satoshi” is now in production in London, directed by Doug Liman (known for The Bourne Identity) and starring Casey Affleck and Pete Davidson. The plot digs into the mystery of Bitcoin’s elusive creator—and for the first time, Satoshi’s story is going Hollywood.

Why does this matter?

Because culture pulls in people charts never will. A movie like this can put Bitcoin in front of millions of fresh eyes, spark curiosity, and bring new users into the market. That’s how adoption grows… one headline, one story, one blockbuster at a time.

Japan’s $3.7B Bitcoin Bet

In Tokyo, Metaplanet shareholders just approved a $3.7 billion raise dedicated solely to buying more Bitcoin. The company’s goal? To accumulate over 210,000 BTC by 2027. That’s not a short-term trade—it’s a long-term conviction play that tightens supply and sets a precedent other corporations can follow.

And that puts them in the top tier of corporate holders alongside the likes of MicroStrategy. Every coin they scoop up is one less in circulation, which means stronger price floors and less fuel for panic selling.

Pullbacks make headlines. But conviction lives in boardrooms—and now on the big screen. Between Metaplanet’s billions and a Hollywood thriller about Satoshi, Bitcoin’s next chapter isn’t just being written… it’s being filmed.

Tiny Firm, Giant Bitcoin Bet

Hyperscale Data (GPUS) is adding $20 million in Bitcoin to its balance sheet, despite being worth just $15 million.

Let me say that again: they’re stacking Bitcoin worth more than the company’s market cap.

That’s both a bold and bizarre move… and exactly the kind of surprising capital flow that builds long-term demand.

Cheers,
